A little bit about us

I am finally responding to Katherine's tag.  Sorry it took so long!!

How long did you date? dated six months, engaged for four.
How old is he? 28.
Who eats more? Loren.
Who said I love you first? Loren did.
Who is taller? Loren, by 10".
Who sings better? I would have to say me (although that's not saying much), but his "air" instruments are much better than mine (air guitar, air drums, air keyboard etc.).
Who does the laundry? Mostly Loren actually.
Who does the dishes? Whoever didn't do them last.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Loren.
Who pays the bills? We pay them together.
Who mows the lawn? Loren does.  I like to think he enjoys it.
Who is more stubborn? Definitely me.
Who kissed who first? I was leaving Loren's apartment and he said, "I don't think I can let you leave without kissing you first." Cute huh?
Who asked who out? Blind date.
Who proposed? Loren did.
Who is more sensitive? That would be me.
Who has more friends? Probably Loren.
Who has more siblings? I  have 5, he has 2.
Who wears the pants in the relationship? We probably both have a leg in.

She's crafty

Here is the latest accessory Loren's mom, Laurie, has created for me.  Isn't this the cutest little hat you have ever seen?  I agree.  Laurie keeps me stocked up on purses, scarves and hats.  So, if you ever see me wearing something knitted or crocheted you will now know that the craftyness is all Laurie's, I just happen to be the lucky one to wear it!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

I dedicate this post to my mom, Kathy, who turns 51 on February 1st! She probably wouldn't appreciate me telling everyone how old she is, but since she doesn't look 51 I'm taking my chances :) She is one of those moms who is always on time, always organized and always available when you need her. She is very graceful and classic and I love her! Growing up with 5 brothers at least I had my mom as a female ally in the house! We hope you have a great birthday!

     What a pretty mom!

Bag Tag

I have officially been bag tagged by Sherstine. Hopefully that's a reference to my purse and not me :)
Well, I'm one of those people that carries around way to much stuff in her purse. Currently in my purse: my camera, wallet (money, debit and credit card, all of those dumb cards that you get punched whenever you go somewhere that I never use, reciepts), two note pads, sunglasses, 7 lip products (you never know which one you'll need), bobby pins, hair elastics, perfume, two varieties of gum, lotion, cell phone, pocket calendar, check book, house keys, church keys, a candy cane, and some bills that I payed on the phone on the way to work the other day! Voila, now you know!!
Oh, and I tag Marcie, Kim and Katherine.

Yes, I am alive

I've been meaning to update this for a while. I'm either a really boring person or I can't come up with clever things to post. Probably a touch of both. Well, we had a very nice Christmas and New Years. We stayed in Salt Lake for Christmas. We had a couple of fun family parties, did our own thing Christmas morning and then went to Loren's parents house for the afternoon and evening. We spent New Years with Steve, Emma and Luke down in St. George. It was nice to get away from the bitter cold that has been Salt Lake lately.
On January 4th we were in Boise for my brother Joey's wedding. He and his wife, Michelle, were married on the 4th and had their reception on the 5th. It was so nice to see so many people that I haven't seen for so long. Here are a couple of pics.

First Ski of the Season!!

Well, we finally made it up skiing for the first time this season! We went up to Snowbird on Saturday and it was absolutely freezing, especially standing in line, but we still had fun. We could only take pictures at the car because it was so cold the camera wouldn't work!! We had to warm it up before we could get it to function (much like my fingers)!
