Twice tagged

Well, since I have been tagged twice, I figured I had better just go ahead and do this :)
Six quirky things about me:
1. When I like a song, I listen to it over and over and over, probably much to the dismay of everyone around me!
2. I love office supplies. Pencils, pens, Sharpies, paper, calendars, desk organizers, pencil holders. Weird, I know, but go to www.seejanework.com and you may soon share my obsession.
3. I own (and continue to buy) way too much eye shadow. Then, every morning, when I am putting my make up on I use.....you guessed it, the same one every day!!
4. I count my steps in sets of eight. Not ALL the time, but I will catch myself doing it sometimes.
5. I am a night owl. I could stay up until 2:00 in the morning and not get anything accomplished (mostly when Loren is out of town).
6. When I get in bed and fall asleep I wake up in the exact position I went to sleep in. I can literally fold the blanket back, get out of bed and put the blanket back down and the bed looks totally undisturbed.

Pandora

So, everyone else probably already knows about Pandora, but I just found out about it the other day. Pandora is a streaming internet radio channel basically. You go to pandora.com and create a free account. You type in an artist or a song that you like and Pandora finds songs that have similar vocals, tonality, rhythm, style etc. and plays them on their own "station". You can give the song a thumbs up or a thumbs down to help guide them towards which sound you like. Also, you can bookmark a song or artist or buy it right then on iTunes. This has been so great for me because I am at a computer most of the day and get really tired of my same music over and over and have a hard time discovering new music. I have found some good new tunes.

Idaho

I was in Idaho over the weekend to see my nephew get baptized. Loren couldn't come with me because he had a guys weekend/golf tournament/fishing to tend to. Since Loren wasn't with me I was able to get together with some friends that I have known forever but hardly get to see (we're talking years here).
On Friday night I got together with my friends Rachael and Sherstine that I have known since I was 5 (we were in the same ward) and Hillary who I met when I was 10 (when we moved into her ward). We had dinner, talked and made hair clips (they have daughters, I made some for my niece). It was so fun to catch up and hear what everyone has going on in their lives right now.
The next morning I went to the Boise Farmer's Market and to lunch with my high school friend Celeste. Then I went to the baptism and to dinner with my family. Later that night my friend Debbie (who I've also known since I was 10) happened to be in town from Washington came over with her boyfriend and we reminisced for a couple of hours. All in all it was a great weekend for renewing friendships and catching up!
